The Only Page Our Head of HR Controls (And It Shows)
Let’s just say this page didn’t go through our usual round of last-minute CEO edits. In fact, Luke was specifically told he could not touch this.
Why? Because after a few too many “We’re like family!” job posts, our Head of HR stepped in and said: Enough. If we’re going to ask people to join us, we’re going to tell them the truth. The good kind.
This is your inside look at what it’s really like to work at KwaintTech. A company that started with blankets, pivoted to tech-enabled blankets, rode the AI wave to NeuraBlanket domination, and somehow still cares enough to turn off Slack notifications after 5:30 p.m.
Green Flags at KwaintTech
Emails After Hours? Not a Thing.
We use delayed send. We respect time zones. We believe in boundaries. If Luke emails you at midnight, it’s probably about his dream. And HR will subsequently revoke his email privileges.
Feedback Goes to People, Not Around Them
We don’t do side comments or “I heard from someone that…” vibes. If something’s not working, we talk about it directly - with kindness, clarity and the belief that people need to learn, and can always grow.
We Don’t Confuse Urgency with Importance
Not everything is “ASAP.” We prioritize, plan, and leave panic for actual emergencies - like running out of coffee or someone accidentally emailing the whole company (don’t worry, after a few legendary Luke incidents, reply-all is now locked down).
You’re Trusted to Do Your Job
No hovering, no constant check-ins. We trust you to make calls, take action and try new things. And if you make a mistake? Tell your manager - and please don't panic. We don’t want you to hide it. We want to fix it together. That’s how we grow.
Time Off Is Off Off (Not Off-ish).
We don’t just “permit” vacations. We build coverage systems so you’re not answering emails from a hammock. We give you a re-entry buffer so you don’t return to a Monday morning inbox avalanche. You know… like a human.
Growth Without Guesswork.
We built real career paths. You’ll know what options are, how to get there, and who to talk to - to find out what you really want. Promotions aren’t a mystery - they’re a map.
Meetings That Have a Point
You’ll know why you’re invited. There will be an agenda. You’ll also have plenty of non-meeting time to actually get your work done - because calendars shouldn’t be your full-time job.
Luke’s Leadership, but with Seatbelts
Yes, our CEO once insisted on AI-powered mink (for him) product demos. But now, he takes feedback, respects process and hasn’t renamed anything in three whole weeks. Growth!
